Gunvor Nelson is an artist, an experimental filmmaker and previous teacher at the San Francisco Art Institute. She was active in the avant garde movement New American Cinema and is today considered to be one of the worlds greatest experimental filmmakers.

In 2006 the retrospective book Evidence was produced. The design is a collaboration between Gunvor and Magnus Engström from OCH. The book design was later reused for the Gunvor Nelson retrospective exhibition at Moderna Museet in Stockholm.
